About the doctor

At the Waregem Weight Clinic all bariatric procedures are performed by Dr. Christopher Lange.

In 2015 Dr. Lange founded the Waregem Weight Clinic as part of the surgical department of the O.L.V. Van Lourdes Hospital in Waregem.

Dr. Christopher Lange completed his surgical training at the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands, he specialised in general and abdominal surgery. In addition he worked as research fellow at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and at Stellenbosch University in Cape Town in South-Africa. Subsequently he was surgical fellow at the University Hospital of Leuven in Belgium where he gained extensive experience in laparoscopic and bariatric procedures. Dr. Lange specializes in endoscopic procedures such as the endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty. He is one of the first endosleeve performers in Belgium.
